Privacy Policy

The short version

TextWizard runs entirely in your browser. The text you type or paste is never sent to a server — it lives only in your browser's local storage so your work persists between visits. There are no user accounts, no logins, and no tracking of what you actually transform with the tools.

Data we (and our providers) handle

1. Hosting — Cloudflare

This site is served by Cloudflare. When you visit any page, Cloudflare receives standard web request metadata (your IP address, browser user-agent, requested URL, timestamp) to deliver the page and protect against abuse. We don't access these logs directly; they are governed by Cloudflare's privacy policy.

2. Traffic measurement — Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to count visits and understand which pages are used. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes your IP address (in anonymized form) to provide aggregate stats. We do not link these stats to any personal identifier, and we do not see the content of your textarea — only page views and basic visit metadata. For details see Google's privacy policy. You can opt out via Google's opt-out browser add-on or via your browser's cookie / tracker controls.

3. Browser local storage

TextWizard saves a few things in your browser's localStorage so the app works the way you'd expect:

This data never leaves your device. You can clear it anytime via your browser's site-data controls, or by clicking Clear on each tool page.

What we don't do

Cookies

TextWizard itself doesn't set cookies. Google Analytics sets cookies starting with _ga for traffic measurement (typical expiration: up to 2 years). Cloudflare may set a security cookie (__cf_bm) to distinguish humans from bots.

Children

TextWizard is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date at the top will change and the revised policy will be posted at this URL.
